What happens when I go over my monthly submission cap?
Nothing is lost. Submissions past the cap are still accepted and stored — we never drop a lead. Notification emails and webhooks pause until you upgrade or the month rolls over, and everything that arrived in the meantime is waiting in your dashboard.
Do I need JavaScript or an SDK?
No. Point any HTML form's action attribute at your FormDock endpoint and it works. If you want to stay on-page (React, Vue, etc.), POST JSON with fetch and you'll get a JSON response instead of a redirect.
How does spam filtering work?
Three layers: a honeypot field, optional Cloudflare Turnstile verification, and keyword/link heuristics. Flagged submissions are quarantined in a Spam tab — stored, not deleted — so you can rescue false positives with one click. Spam never triggers emails or webhooks.
How is this different from Formspree or Web3Forms?
Flat pricing and an agency-shaped dashboard. Our $15 plan includes 1,000 submissions (Formspree's $15 plan includes 200), and the Agency plan adds unlimited client workspaces, per-form notification routing, and white-label emails — one invoice for all your client sites.
Is FormDock GDPR-compliant for my clients' data?
FormDock acts as a data processor for submission data, operated from Switzerland under the Swiss FADP and GDPR. You get per-form retention windows (auto-delete after N days), one-click deletion of individual submissions, CSV export, and a DPA. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Hosting is currently US-based under DPF/SCC transfer safeguards — EU/Swiss residency is on the roadmap.
Can my client get the lead emails while I keep access?
Yes — that's the core workflow. Each form routes notifications to any set of recipients (the client's inbox, yours, both), while submissions stay archived in the workspace you control. Hand off the leads, keep the audit trail.
What if FormDock's email delivery fails?
The submission is persisted first, before any delivery is attempted — ingestion never depends on email. Failed notifications and webhooks retry automatically with exponential backoff, and every delivery attempt is tracked.
Who am I buying from, and how is VAT handled?
Paid plans are sold through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase: Stripe calculates, collects and remits any VAT or sales tax due in your country, and sends your payment receipt. Listed prices exclude tax — the exact amount for your location is shown at checkout before you pay. You can cancel any time from the billing portal.
Is there a free tier?
Yes: 100 submissions/month, unlimited forms, full spam filtering and dashboard — with a small 'Powered by FormDock' footer on notification emails. No credit card required.
